The Yorkshire airport has signed a long term deal with TUI UK and Ireland which will see the travel firm operating Thomson and First Choice holidays from the region.
Thomson Airways are to increase their long-haul capacity and fly to new destinations, including the only direct flight from the UK to Costa Rica in November 2015.
