The V-173 ``Flying Pancake'' has been shipped to Vought Aircraft Industries' headquarters in Dallas, where it will be restored by retirees. Built for the Navy by Chance Vought Aircraft in the early 1940s, the odd-looking experimental aircraft accumulated 131 hours in several hundred test flights...
