Poll: Can Norwegian Survive The COVID-19 Crisis?
Norwegian Air Shuttle plans to further cut capacity, leaving only six aircraft from its 140-strong fleet in operation, citing travel restrictions and Norway’s decision not to provide any more financial aid to the low-cost long-haul carrier.
The airline’s network reduction announcement came as it revealed a NOK980 million ($109 million) net loss for the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, a reversal of fortunes on last year when it recorded a NOK1.7 billion net profit for Q3 2019.
