Qatari national carrier, Qatar Airways has announced it will be adding six extra flights per week between Doha and Manila from October 26, 2015.
Following an expanded Air Service Agreement signed between the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines, the Doha-based carrier will now operate a full twice-daily service to Manila, in addition to its daily flights between Clark and Doha.
The route is currently operated by a Boeing 777, featuring 24 Business Class seats, and 356 seats in Economy eight-times-weekly, though the increased frequency will see the service operating twice daily every day apart from Sunday, which already has an existing twice-daily Qatar Airways flight.
The additional frequency will depart Doha at 08:30am, arriving into the capital of the Philippines at 22:15pm. The return journey will depart Manila at 23:59pm, arriving into Doha at 05:05am the following day.
“The increase in flight frequencies on the Doha–Manila route serves to further strengthen commercial and trade links between our two countries and we are delighted to be able to provide our Philippines-based passengers with greater connectivity options when they choose to fly with Qatar Airways,” said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Mr Akbar Al Baker.
