Bombardier has started its new Parts Express service for Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft operators using the flexibility of the Flexjet aircraft fleet for AOG parts deliveries and Mobile Repair Parties (MRP) within the United States. The program is available to Bombardier business aircraft operators whose aircraft are currently under warranty.

Cirrus Design Corp. and Jeppesen are teaming up to provide a Web-based transition course for pilots that is the first in a series designed to promote safe flying through lifelong learning. The new course includes eight hours of online ground school and a syllabus for six scenario-based flight workshops. Safety themes woven through the course include: preventing accidents through system safety, understanding aircraft systems and interpreting system status, operating avionics systems and executing flight procedures.

*March 9 -- At 0405 UTC, a Piper PA-34-200T on a charter flight, operated by Executive Air Charter, crashed in a farm field near Lilongwe, Malawi. It was VFR at the time. The pilot and passenger were fatally inured and the aircraft was destroyed. There was no fire. The departure airport was Lilongwe International (LLW) and the destination was Karonga, Malawi. The accident is under investigation.
