Australia startup AMSL Aero has completed the first tethered hover test of its Vertiia electric vertical takeoff and landing full-scale technology demonstrator.
The UK government has announced £117 million ($141 million) in funding for projects to develop technologies for zero-emission hydrogen and electric propulsion.
The grant is of one 19, totaling A$44 million, awarded under the latest round of the Australian government’s Cooperative Research Centers Projects program.
