FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-01-09 for certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada DHC-8-400s, requiring an inspection for electrical bonding jumpers and brackets on the fuel scavenge and vent lines at specific wing locations and, if installed, removal or modification of those jumpers and brackets; plus a records check to determine if certain maintenance tasks were performed and removal, modification or rework if those tasks were performed, effective Mar. 13, 2023.
FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-02 for GE CF34-8C1s, -8C5s, -8C5A1s, -8C5B1s, -8C5A2s, -8C5A3s, -8E2s, -8E2A1s, -8E5s, -8E5A1s, -8E5A2s, -8E6s and -8E6A1s, revising the airworthiness limitations section of the existing engine manual and the operator's existing approved maintenance or inspection program to incorporate initial and repetitive fluorescent penetrant inspections of the combustion chamber assembly, effective Mar. 14, 2023.
